there is a VST called Roland SOUND canvas,which is paid and it's not cheap. so i compiled the sounds (everything i could get from the 14 day trial and 10 mins. limitation.)
It's GM Compatible tho.

Description
This is a gm soundfont I made because I didn't like the sound of the most popular soundfonts I tried. It's meant to sound as live as possible. I tried it with acoustic jazz, country and rock music and it sounds very good, even though I have to fix some things.

i notice that some people try to recreate a tiros 4 soundfont in Many ways, but don't sampler the real instruments.

I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others.
