This sound library is sampled from a toy that has two modes, which are obviously "Piano" and "Xylophone". You can access these modes via key switches. I made this virtual instrument so that is played back exactly like the original toy, right down to the quirk that necessitates that you press the keys down with a bit of force, in order for the hammer to hit the bells. If you don't, then you'll just hear the keys flailing and no tone. This is a great oddity to add amongst ...

UPDATED! (Feb. 7, 2017) I fixed some tuning issues and removed a few bad notes. Embrace the fun sound of this virtual electronic organ, sampled from a spinet organ that was likely built in the late 70s! The full version is available on my website: http://michaelpichermusic.wixsite.com/composer/

I wanted to create a simple and straightforward means to mimic the nostalgic beeps and boops of the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES). Instead of needing to create separate tracks for each voice, this SoundFont puts all the different sounds within the range of an 88-key keyboard. Built into this SFZ instrument are three Pulse (Square) wave variants, as well as Triangle and Noise wave sounds. Also included are various effects that will alter the release and pitch of each...

Unlike other virtual pianos, this one will give you the sensation of sitting at the piano bench directly in front of the keys. This effect is best experienced when you wear headphones. Features include samples for when the damper pedal is both up and down, sampled releases, and even damper pedal sounds that all recorded binaurally from a playing position! Update: Added sampled key release sounds.

I'm creating a bunch of SoundFonts for myself and other musicians. Many of them are free and can be used in commercial and non-commercial projects. Here is the "lite" version of my virtual Hammond organ. The "full" version can be downloaded from my website.
