This is a small fm soundfont of the Yamaha MA2 chip. It was used in some phones by Samsung, LG ecc. I'm stgiga, and this is my merger of my fix of the NESMaster96 GM remap of little-scale and drunkenjesus's YM2413 SoundFont with the Devan Wolf GM remap of the OPLL-2 bank from the Yamaha SHS-10, utilizing plgDavid samples. Thus this, in essence, a 2xOPLL bank, because the OPLL and OPLL2 are the same chip just accessed differently. The SHS-10 just uses custom patches a lot. This is actually a neat duet.

BeepBox and JummBox are under The MIT License, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with The MIT License (and GPLv3 as well, so you can use this SoundFont in anything GPL3-licensed. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others. And no, I didn't paywall the bank on ANY of the other sites it is on. I even point people to this site in the description to fulfill my CC-BY-SA4 obligations to attribute. I combined all of my soundfonts (and added some new stuff) for this soundfont, go nuts.
Previous Updates:
Version 1.75: (OPL I added OPL samples and fixed some looping within the samples.

I used Deflemask and Furnace Tracker for the samples, and Polyphone to make the soundfont.

PC-98 YM2608 SoundFont

I found this SoundFont on YT in a video by channel "Erika Furudo".
Compared to the other PC-98 Soundfont on Musical Artifacts (https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/589), this one has better drums that sounds more crisp (and accurate IMHO!) than the drums in that SoundFont. Also supports more drumkits than that other PC-98 SoundFont.
I uploaded it here in case of the original video being taken down. Have fun!
