microGM (1.96MB - 2.73MB)

by michael

Uploaded on Dec 07, 2022 (and last updated on Apr 05, 2024)

Smallest and complete soundfont I made. Most GM patches here are unique. Supports GS drum sets but not presets. This SF2 is meant to be used by tiny devices, very Beatnik inspired, since i wanted a SF2 that could be used for ringtones without sounding off. This SF2 doesn't use any fancy features by the format, so it is very plain in that aspect. The sample rate of the samples oscillates between 8000 and 16kHz (22kHz for percussion with high frequencies). The recommended in...

Old wurlitzer upright

by R. T.

Uploaded on Feb 15, 2022 (and last updated on Feb 15, 2022)

In the summer of 2015, our highschool was cleaning out its band room. Inside were three upright pianos- a Winter (which we kept), another upright, which I think was thrown, and a Wurlitzer. While I was waiting to be picked up from the band room, I sampled the Wurlitzer, which was destined for the dump. This is probably the last time it was ever played.

Final Fantasy VI Soundfont [UPDATED] (2020)

by ilmutus

Uploaded on Sep 22, 2020 (and last updated on May 03, 2021)

DEMO: https://audiomack.com/ilmutus/song/fighting-the-mad-dragon Hello there! This is a soundfont containing every instrument from Final Fantasy VI (AKA Final Fantasy III in the USA) ripped using VGMtrans. I decided to make it after noticing the poor quality of ones available online, the William Kage one is great but it sounds very harsh, has unwanted ADSR (slow attack on some instruments and too much release, especially on bass sounds) and doesn't loop properly on many ...

Piano Tape

by Square and line

Uploaded on Apr 08, 2020 (and last updated on May 19, 2024)

Once upon a time an old piano in a faraway house, just a decorative piece of furniture so damaged inside that nobody was daring touch his keys. Nobody except me. I found back a tape with all these sounds, deep dark basses, wood hammers, broken strings, lo-fi noises. I’m glad to share them now with you as 2 Hydrogen drums kits : Percussion and Experimental.

HuC6280 Rhodes (A.K.A. Toy Rhodes)

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Mar 27, 2019 (and last updated on May 19, 2024)

This is a really tiny and experimental SoundFont that tries to imitate a Rhodes in a weird way, playing with overtones, using 3 samples that I've created with the HuC6280 sound chip. It features filter velocity, so if you play it with different intensities, the sound will change, like a piano or something similar. Give it a try! And as usual with my SoundFonts, please don't use sinc interpolation with it.

Casio CTK-230 SoundFont

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Jun 12, 2018 (and last updated on May 19, 2024)

This is a SoundFont of my Casio CTK-230. Months ago I started to make this SoundFont, only the piano presets. But on June 9 I started to continue it, and finally I completed it. I have sampled and also recreated the loop points in each sample, to save space and prevent this SoundFont from being large. There are some presets that I have not recreated because the envelopes that were used for those presets are not possible using the parameters that the SoundFont 2.1 format o...

SampleSynthesis (an attempt to emulate/recreate toy keyboards and lo-fi retro sounds)

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Mar 05, 2018 (and last updated on May 19, 2024)

SampleSynthesis (beta version) is a SoundFont based on waveforms sampled from various sound sources. Note that "sound source" in my context refers to a sound generator software, not a public source of downloadable sounds. I made it to recreate electronic toys and more. (Specifically retro sounds). Features velocity layers in some presets, some of them are monophonic. I recommend use this SoundFont without sinc interpolation because it ruins loop points in the samples. No...
