Arachno SoundFont is a General MIDI-compliant bank of 128 instruments ("presets") and 9 GM/GS drumkits, aimed at enhancing the realism of your MIDI files and arrangements.
This bank includes many famous sounds from the best synthesizers by Roland (D-50, Sound Canvas...), Korg (M1, X5...), Yamaha (MU, Clavinova...), Fairlight (CMI), E-MU (Emulator), Ensoniq, and many others.
It's meant to be used with a SoundFont...

Extra considerations:
Most portions of this bank actually come from other sources (SoundFont and GigaSampler libraries, third-party synthesizer samples), credited in the official documentation, although I've been unable to remember where I found a few presets and samples, here and there.
You're free to use Arachno SoundFont in any of your projects. But, please be aware that this bank is primarily distributed for private, non-commercial purposes only, as it uses portions from other authors. If you want to use it for commercial purposes, please obtain a written consent from the original authors credited in the Preset list and Copyright information and credits sections of the documentation.

Over the past few months, I've been working on this GM soundfont that has 147 presets that is 3.96 GiB/4.27 GB. I will add more presets soon thoughout the development process, with are things like GS, XG, MT, and other presets soon, but they in separate soundfonts since Polyphone will corrupt the soundfont after it reaches 4.3 GB. Gravis Ultrasound Pro Patches Lite 1.61

For those people (like me) who wishes/wished the GUS had reverb and chorus effects.
A rip on the presumed final version of Advanced Gravis's Pro Patches Lite "expansion" for its Ultrasound lineup of cards. Recorded with the original bundled software under an emulated Windows 95 installation. Some of the sounds were taken from other professional synths (eg. Roland Sound Canvas).

This my merger and fix of the Hedsound MT32 soundfont and Hakerg's GM version. Hakerg had forgotten the fret noise which broke certain songs, so what I did to fix that involved me putting the Guitar Harmonics thing there. Also I did some link-related stereo fixes without affecting the MT32's special stereo. I also painstakingly made the SFX kit into individual GS SFX items, while also making Bird Tweet better. I'm stgiga, and here's my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro soundfont from my Weebly but in a better place. This SF2 was made when I was, in essence, a 15-16yo trans girl (I'm now nonbinary, 21yo, and use they/them). It even supports the XG mode. Just like the JV-1080 Drums, this soundfont also is a compilation from some other set of soundboard.com samples. Maybe it's some Room ambiance or a mysterious DSP Reverb or EQ left applied while the source samples were being recorded (before the author uploaded it to the relevant website) they doesn't sound perfectly neutral for me. It's up to you to decide whether or not apply an EQ treatment here. I'm more of a Rola...
