I used Deflemask and Furnace Tracker for the samples, and Polyphone to make the soundfont.

A GMGS soundfont created by Caed, based on RLNDGM. This is my first time making a GMGS soundfont, so it isn’t that perfect. Took 3 months to create this.

In chase if you dont know, the most hard soundfonts to find are curiously Acoustic instruments, so you have a collection of non-synth origin instruments
This was used as a base of the Mompies Legacy Fighting Games for mugen soundfonts
I suggest add this to your soundfont to have a great acoustic backing

Arachno SoundFont is a General MIDI-compliant bank of 128 instruments ("presets") and 9 GM/GS drumkits, aimed at enhancing the realism of your MIDI files and arrangements.
This bank includes many famous sounds from the best synthesizers by Roland (D-50, Sound Canvas...), Korg (M1, X5...), Yamaha (MU, Clavinova...), Fairlight (CMI), E-MU (Emulator), Ensoniq, and many others.
