Namco WSG General MIDI Soundfont

by 125scratch

Uploaded on Dec 12, 2023 (and last updated on Jan 15, 2024)

Inspired by CupheadKrasueHTFBewilderHouseFan!'s Namco Arcade Sound Emulator soundfont, this SF2 contains fitting replacements for most General MIDI instruments, mostly wavetable data taken from Namco's arcade games from 1979 to 1985, but with a few other fun additions from some other games, Namco or otherwise. Instruments are sorted in accordance to the General MIDI instrument list, so most MIDIs will play fine through CoolSoft VirtualMIDISynth or other software.

Lil'Sness - An Original SNES-like Soundfont (160+ Samples)

by ASmolBoy

Uploaded on Apr 20, 2022 (and last updated on Dec 30, 2023)

Click on "More Info..." to check out some awesome demo songs made in this soundfont! What is this? Lil'Sness is an original SNES-like soundfont, meaning no samples were taken from any existing SNES games. Each sample was recorded and processed within the constraints of the SNES's sound hardware to make them as authentic-sounding as possible. Most samples were taken from 80s and 90s sound libraries, much like programmers/composers did back in the day. It contains over 1...

HiDef (my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro SoundFont)

by stgiga, et. al. (check my Weebly)

Uploaded on Dec 05, 2022 (and last updated on Oct 20, 2023)

I'm stgiga, and here's my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro soundfont from my Weebly but in a better place. This SF2 was made when I was, in essence, a 15-16yo trans girl (I'm now nonbinary, 21yo, and use they/them). It even supports the XG mode. It was designed to be compatible with the vast majority of MIDI files, including exotic ones that used the 88Pro, especially Japanese MIDIs. I made it in 2018 when I was fed up with broken MIDIs. It was a pain to make and often involved using ...

BalancedGM 1

A general MIDI soundfont with balanced instruments. I used General User GS for many of the sounds, and also I matched the volume of the other samples used to General User GS.---version 1.03: fixed a few bugs with drum kits

Lemmings 1 soundfont (kinda)

by Skeebis

Uploaded on Dec 27, 2022 (and last updated on Apr 15, 2023)

I made this due to the lack of other instruments in TomatoWatcher's soundfont. It also lacks some instruments. I recommend getting TomatoWatcher's soundfont to fill in the blanks of some instruments. I also recommend you use these together. Some of the samples also might sound mediocre because this is my first outing in Polyphone. Also, there's drums now.

The squarewave from the 1997 V-Tech Power Zone 2000 educational computer. Never heard of this thing before? I get it! It's pretty obscure and hard to find. Anyways, try this if you make chiptune music.
