The reason I published this here on Musical Artifacts is because it was originally an .sf3 file and .sf3's are compatible with such a small amount of things. The way I converted the thing was using Polyphone. I just loaded it, hit 'Save As...' and chose .sf2. It sounds just like the original with not much loss and I'm pretty happy with it. I decided to make the General MIDI SoundFont of the Yamaha S-YXG50, and if you're wondering how I got the drum kit samples, I edited a MIDI file and added some long notes in every bar in Synthfont, then sampled the drum kits, too. Also, samples recorded using Falcosoft MIDI player. Note that this is just work in progress, then later it will be full. Just wanted to share here right now for the time being.

Here's a soundfont containing samples from the music composition program 'OrgMaker', developed by Studio Pixel. It was used to create the soundtrack of the 2004 game 'Cave Story'. It includes 100 different kinds of waveforms (Sine, Pulse, Saw, Triangle and more), plus all the built-in drum samples (Kicks, Snares, Toms etc.) as well. Feel free to use this soundfont and its samples in any kind of project (Remix, Original Music, Video Game). (Check out the demo song as well!)

I recommend in fl pitch the drum tracks up in piano roll so they actually work lol. I DO NOT OWN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM, SA1 BELONGS TO SEGA I REPEAT SEGA. Oh, and I just took samples and put them in audacity, I didn't rip the sample from the game its self, so that's why it has that weird/cool/dumb, idk? sound to it.
