Kiara Klarinet

by Duplex

Uploaded on Mar 06, 2024 (and last updated on Mar 27, 2024)

Clarinet sampled from FlappyKFP main theme. Got inspired by some SiIvaGunner rips to make this, thought it sounded nice. Some guy in Japan made the original song I think The loop points are a little fucked up, but it's barely noticeable if you're only using short notes; idk this is one of my first soundfonts so it's bound to suck lol. If someone wants to try their hand at making a better version of this, be my guest

UPDATE: I have added descriptive names to all of the soundfonts from the "0index" files to make it much more convenient for people. ADDENDUM: A while ago I made a .wav convertion of all the .xi files that I think should be placed here as well. https://www.mediafire.com/file/gw8t8eh9m3nrc08/kiarchive_wavs.7z/file I don't recommend using this for instruments since they are "single sampled" as opposed to "multi sampled" as they are in .xi/.sf2 form. As well they are not loop...

This soundfont is made with the samples recorded at the Electronic Music Studios of the University of Iowa (USA) Except for cutting the silence before the attack, the samples were not modified : natural sound, natural sustain and release: no loop, no effect. The samples are publicly available as is, with no license, as far as I know. My warm greetings to the nice people who maintain this usefull project! The infamous "string machine" used throughout the late 60s and early 70s. Not samples of a real one, but rather a stereo facsimile. I call it the "mellowtron".
