EVE burst error (PC-98) Soundfont

Background Info:
Following my discovery of the PC-98 series of computers and their Yamaha FM sound cards, I came to hear many of Ryu Umemoto's excellent compositions. These have a very distinct sound compared to other soundtracks on the same hardware. In an attempt to allow myself and others to replicate this sound without needing to use tracker software/MML, I decided to create a Soundfont for none other than EVE burst error.

Wario Master Of Disguise Soundfont

I hired a fantastic drummer on Fiverr to record drums for an album, and paid him to also record some samples of his kit. I mixed the samples, chopped them up, and added in some other percussion he recorded for me. I made this for my own usage, so it may be a little idiosyncratic, but hopefully you can get some mileage out of it too. Slender Salamander Grand Piano (48 kHz 24 bit)

A phase aligned version of the famous Salamander Grand Piano. Using velocity crossfading to simulate intermediate velocity layers, the original gigabyte library has been reduced to 389 MB (238 MB for the 44.1 kHz version). From the original 16 velocity layers, 3 were selected then phase aligned. Furthermore, the SFZ library has also been re-tuned using the Entropy Piano Tuner.

Phase Aligned Grand Piano from SSO

An update to the Grand Piano included in the Mattias Westlund's Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. The velocity layers are phase aligned, allowing smoother dynamic transitions via velocity crossfading, which in turn makes the piano more expressive.

Artificial stereo panning and looping of long notes makes the over all sample library just 10.8mb without sacrificing number of samples, thus avoiding overstretching pitches.
