Modern Vibraharp

by Daindune

Uploaded on Mar 09, 2024

Here is yet another realistic vibraphone soundfont. I recorded the samples from Soundtrap in the Piano Roll, with another note added 2 octaves up, and a low velocity, and main note with a high velocity to make it sound like a real modern vibraphone sound. This is GM compatible. Feel free to use this in your soundfonts, and please give me credit.

The General Montage SoundFont

by Daindune

Uploaded on Nov 22, 2023 (and last updated on May 19, 2024)

Here is a realistic GM SoundFont that I’ve been working on. This SoundFont contains realistic sound samples. Most of them are from No Budget SFZs, Freepats, and Versilian Studios. With 128 instruments, and 8 drum kits, and the mono instruments have been balanced to sound stereo. Although most of the instruments contain stereo samples. The next update will contain an SFX kit, all instruments will have dynamic velocity layers, and some instrument sounds will be changed. This...

Everyone knows and loves the EarthBound soundfont, created by SleepyTimeJeese over ten years ago... but did you know that this soundfont holds some secrets? Digging around in a soundfont editor, I managed to find a number of unused and unreferenced samples, some of which were used in the demo album "I Miss You: EarthBound 2012". I've compiled them all in this soundfont for you all to enjoy!

Contains the raw samples and sequences from the BCSAR file extracted from the 3DS's camera app with Godmode9 and converted to a listenable format with Caesar alongside keeping the raw files included. I don't own anything in this archive. Use this for your Silvagunner rips, etc.

Yamaha S-YXG50 GM Soundfont (WIP)

by Simone Piervergili

Uploaded on Oct 17, 2022 (and last updated on Nov 18, 2022)

I decided to make the General MIDI SoundFont of the Yamaha S-YXG50, and if you're wondering how I got the drum kit samples, I edited a MIDI file and added some long notes in every bar in Synthfont, then sampled the drum kits, too. Also, samples recorded using Falcosoft MIDI player. Note that this is just work in progress, then later it will be full. Just wanted to share here right now for the time being.

CrisisGeneralMIDI 3.01

Chris 'Crisis' Maricourt is the creator of Crisis GeneralMIDI 3.01, NOT me. I just wanted to share it here, just like SonicLover19 uploaded Crisis 3.51 which is the unofficial update of this soundfont. Sounds realistic, I tried it and it didn't sound bad. Also, I noticed some samples are from East West libraries, for example, Standard Kit and Melodic Toms are from East West Goliath, I noticed it while watching East West Goliath drum kits demos on YouTube.

Chocobo Racing Soundfont

by David "SgtPepperArc360" Egan - SPA360

Uploaded on Sep 29, 2022 (and last updated on Sep 29, 2022)

Thanks to TheReturnOfLewdLiam for your first own soundfont ever. Anyways, for Liam's own soundfont has less choppy instruments, but more than that, overdriven and distorted guitar sounds very epic for me! String ensembles are now leads, except for FX is classical tone. If you know about Chocobo Racing, it's a PS1 game where all the characters freely roam and race others from each track.
