Some of the instruments used in the songs are from VST plugins, so I have substituted with similar instruments.

Just a simple VST to SF2 conversion without loosing to much quality. Recorded in 24 bit 48 khz also with damper resonance and 41 velocity layers.

Originally I heard the choir soundfont in this video and wanted it, but couldn't find it anywhere. This soundfont is something that I found (with no sign of author or any metadata) in a forum thread with a collection of orchestral sounds and edited it to create a similar sound of voices swelling in volume.

Original samples come from Bill Brown's Fender Knockoff Strat, SGM, Freepats FSFT Guitar Direct and Naturally Decaying B-Guitars.sf2.
Guitarix virtual amplifier used to amplify (and in some cases, distort) the sounds. Guitarix running under Ubuntu.
Picked bass was recorded in June 2019 from a real electric bass.

After a bunch subpar Earthbound soundfonts, I decided to take matters into into my own hands. Here is probably the best Earthbound soundfont out there! I even included some instruments exclusive to Mother 1 + 2 as a bonus.

Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra is a free orchestral sample library. While not as advanced or ambitious in scope as commercial offerings, SSO contains all the basic building blocks for creating real virtual orchestrations. This was initially sampled by EmperorGriefus. Here, I have added some additional drum kits and drum sounds from SC-88/88pro/8820 plus the set of MT-32 patches the original SC-55 module was supposed to offer at Bank no.127. I made several additional tweaks to lower the file size by noticing actual loop points heard in longer samples. The modulation effects lost in this trimming process are then recovered by doing the math at parameter sections with reference to Roland's ori...
