GBFont Soundfont

by MaliceX

Uploaded on Jul 29, 2015 (and last updated on Jan 22, 2016)

Introduction This is a synthesized Soundfont, made specifically for Soundfont-based soundcards. Most preferably, the SBLive! The Gameboy waveforms consist of small-wave-use, to make strange-like sounds. In this case, Gameboy-rather. My source is included, in case you want to continue it from the version you used last. It's in Audio Compositor format the source, so keep in mind, that if you run AC with it, make sure to map the wave files required, to the sample library. :...

KBH Real and Swelling Choirs

by lfz

Uploaded on Jul 22, 2016 (and last updated on Nov 23, 2016)

EDITED: Now the note range goes from C3 to C7 Originally I heard the choir soundfont in this video and wanted it, but couldn't find it anywhere. This soundfont is something that I found (with no sign of author or any metadata) in a forum thread with a collection of orchestral sounds and edited it to create a similar sound of voices swelling in volume. You'll find voice aahs and oohs, a mix of both slow and immediate attack versions of the sounds. See the demo included be...

WARNING! This pack was made inside oldest version of Helm, and this good synth is in active developing. Some patches could not sound the same and I've noticed dangerous volume levels using them in recent updates. Please, be careful and use them at your own risk.

Arab and Turk instruments

by Fernando A. Martin (compilation only)

Uploaded on Feb 14, 2016 (and last updated on Feb 15, 2016)

For some years I have been collecting soundfonts online. I found some nice arab and turk instruments on sf2 format that have been distributed online freely and without any copyright notice. I joined the best of them in one single soundfont file and also made some small adjustments to make some of them sound better. Demonstration pieces in my Youtube channel: www.youtube.com/user/FernandoAMartin777

The Ghent Carillon

by Soni Musicae

Uploaded on Aug 24, 2015 (and last updated on Dec 30, 2015)

This sf2 soundbank, called the Ghent Carillon, is made with free samples found on the following site: http://bimbam.be/EN/klokken.html They are mono but good sounding, and respect the resonance of the 54 bells, from B flat to F, on 4 octaves. The samples have been converted from mp3 to wave, and regularly disposed in space from left to right, using the pan adjustment in the soundfont with Vienna Soundfont. In this belfry, there are no bells for the B and the C sharp of t...

Extra considerations: The soundfont was created by Soni Musicae but the samples are free and come from Ghent (Belgium) city's clock and were made available by a non-profit organization. The original site is now dead (but is linked here and can be accessed via Internet Archive) so most of the uses here should be okay.

Xiaod Bank Soundfont

by Xiaod

Uploaded on Mar 10, 2016

A GM soundfont with some good sounds hidden in there. Many of the instruments sound generic or you might have heard them on other such GM collections, also volume is not always consistent between instruments. It has many different drumkit presets and overall might be useful to someone. Hammersound Rating: 10.0 / 3 reviews Hammersound Description: Very Big! 100% Excellence overall!!!!!! This is the only one you wil ever need!

Really fun samples with weird and usable sounds laid out as a drumkit preset. Hammersound Description: One megabyte of percussion samples in the industrial style (i.e. metallic and electronic sounding). Hiss! Clank! Boom! Hope you like it and let me know what you think--good or bad.
