Serial Experiments Lain PS1 Soundfont

recopiles the sound effects in the game and others like i.e: the music box instrument.
Soundfont i made using the .psf files of the game, that i got from https://psf.joshw.info/ and i used VGMTrans and Polyphone to do the rest wwww man half of the people who know Lain are like programmers and ppl who do cool things with technology and shit, why did nobody thought of doing this before??
Overdriven Guitar

This is an overdriven guitar soundfont which I spent 3 hours of messing around to figure out which settings sounded the best. This covers the GM preset 000:029. I recommend in fl pitch the drum tracks up in piano roll so they actually work lol. I DO NOT OWN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM, SA1 BELONGS TO SEGA I REPEAT SEGA. Oh, and I just took samples and put them in audacity, I didn't rip the sample from the game its self, so that's why it has that weird/cool/dumb, idk? sound to it.

I hired a fantastic drummer on Fiverr to record drums for an album, and paid him to also record some samples of his kit. I mixed the samples, chopped them up, and added in some other percussion he recorded for me. I made this for my own usage, so it may be a little idiosyncratic, but hopefully you can get some mileage out of it too. Slender Salamander Grand Piano (48 kHz 24 bit)

A phase aligned version of the famous Salamander Grand Piano. Using velocity crossfading to simulate intermediate velocity layers, the original gigabyte library has been reduced to 389 MB (238 MB for the 44.1 kHz version). From the original 16 velocity layers, 3 were selected then phase aligned. Furthermore, the SFZ library has also been re-tuned using the Entropy Piano Tuner.

Phase Aligned Grand Piano from SSO

An update to the Grand Piano included in the Mattias Westlund's Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. The velocity layers are phase aligned, allowing smoother dynamic transitions via velocity crossfading, which in turn makes the piano more expressive.

Artificial stereo panning and looping of long notes makes the over all sample library just 10.8mb without sacrificing number of samples, thus avoiding overstretching pitches.
