I've spent almost 2 months making this version and making a bunch of well changes to this soundfont to achieve a better MIDI listening experience. The reason I published this here on Musical Artifacts is because it was originally an .sf3 file and .sf3's are compatible with such a small amount of things. The way I converted the thing was using Polyphone. I just loaded it, hit 'Save As...' and chose .sf2. It sounds just like the original with not much loss and I'm pretty happy with it. It has been about two months since this soundfont was first released and a lot has changed. If you have tried version 1 or any other version before this one, I URGE you to give this one a shot. This isn't organized as a normal GM soundfont, but it is a sf2 file that has a lot of Waveforms recreated from old Namco arcade games.
You can make Pacman midis with its sounds if you want, or maybe something better... Make a midi song sounds like if it was made for a namco arcade game!!!

I compiled every soundfont available on the internet in high quality (including some that were used in Colombo and Matrix) and the results: A HIGHLY REALISTIC GM/GS sf2.
The goal is to reach the highest of a Roland GM counterpart with lookalike sounds.
