Classical Guitar (Pianoteq 8)

An awesome and realistic sounding guitar from Pianoteq 8, it sounds just like it's sampled, but is this physically modelled too? Yeah, because Pianoteq is a physically modelled VST plugin. You see, I'm the first to upload a Pianoteq artifact here on Musical Artifacts, just like I'm the first to upload one from Pianoteq 8, still Pianoteq anyway. Even GD CRAFT is uploading Pianoteq artifacts. He's uploading those from Pianoteq 6, but I uploaded those from Pianoteq 7. And this is the 1st Pianoteq artifact for this year as well, starting Pianoteq 8 this year 2023. However, when it comes to pianos, physical modeling makes some lower notes sound like an ethnic strings instrument like a dulcimer, or even a piano with very old strings, or even a harpsichord, btw, a fusion between those, that detail does not belong to the actual instrument!!! That happens especially to most of Pianoteq pianos, and even Arturia's American Grand, which sounds like Pianoteq and has the same characteristic, real and actual pianos don't have lower notes sounding like that, this is why sampled VST plugins are still way better than physically modelled ones, because, when recorded in high quality environments like recording studios or concert halls, using high quality microphones, they can sound very detailed, but also more human, natural and realistic, because you are recording from an actual instrument, and they are recorded from actual instruments by actual musicians. Physical modeling instead recreates the sound of the piano, but some points still sound a bit robotic there, even the one of the lower notes as I mentioned above. So, if you really want a physically modelled VST plugin, I recommend Arturia, which is a physically modelled plugin, but at least pianos are more realistic there, only the American Grand has lower notes that sound like a fusion between a toy and an ethnic plucked instrument, but thank god that the German and Japanese Grands and the uprights' lower notes don't sound like that, so they solved that problem for those models, but the American Grand still has some lower notes sounding like that, eww! But back to sampled libraries, pianos, when sampled, they don't have lower notes sounding like that, they sound like real and actual pianos, so yeah. Extended range for more samples, woah!!!
