I'm stgiga, and this SoundFont is my build of The Stain SoundFont, which includes patches even back to V1.0 that were left unused, or in some cases sample-only. It also includes replaced and added patches. I left all names unaltered for preservation. I also integrated the stin bank into the MSB127 MT32 compatibility slot. Don't take this SF2 as a representation of the stuff I do.

Hello there!
So, this version marks the first appearance of my exclusive DJENT drumkit, a more polished clean electric guitar variation, and some fun stuff like the Klaxon Horn in addition to a more stable GM/GS patch set with some experimental XG patches which might be interesting to try on! Further optimizations have been made on correcting loop points and making a considerable amount of presets adequate for lower rates of polyphony... ehm... excuse me for those too-tech...

This was initially sampled by EmperorGriefus. Here, I have added some additional drum kits and drum sounds from SC-88/88pro/8820 plus the set of MT-32 patches the original SC-55 module was supposed to offer at Bank no.127. I made several additional tweaks to lower the file size by noticing actual loop points heard in longer samples. The modulation effects lost in this trimming process are then recovered by doing the math at parameter sections with reference to Roland's ori...

Other than that, a few samples from Thomas K's Roland JV-1010 (Volume Fixed), Roland SC-55 by EmperorGriefus, and ColomboGMGS2 was used to cover up some parts that weren't covered by the aforementioned webpage. Assembled to be GM-Compatible, and I was able to finalize it within a single day.

I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. BeepBox and JummBox are under The MIT License, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with The MIT License (and GPLv3 as well, so you can use this SoundFont in anything GPL3-licensed. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others. And no, I didn't paywall the bank on ANY of the other sites it is on. I even point people to this site in the description to fulfill my CC-BY-SA4 obligations to attribute.
