The Blanchet 1720

by Soni Musicae

Uploaded on Aug 24, 2015 (and last updated on Aug 24, 2015)

Using this soundbank in a sampler, you can play a virtual harpsichord copied after a 18th century french instrument by Blanchet. It has one manual, two 8' stops, plus a lute stop. This soundbank is available in soundfont, and Kontakt 2 format. If you want a version for Hauptwerk, go to Soni Musicae / Hauptwerk. The soundfont version is not complete, because it has not the sound of mechanics (that are in original samples) when the musician releases the keys of the harpsicho...

Running Wild Presets

by Sebastian Posch

Uploaded on Aug 10, 2015 (and last updated on Jan 09, 2016)

I'm playing some songs from a german metal band called Running Wild. I think I have put together a tone in guitarix which fits these songs quite well, at least for me. The preset consists of the following elements: Main setting: 12ax7, full Pre-Gain but without Presence. Tonestack: Fender with about 70% bass and some Middle. Cabinet: Mesa Boogie with 50% bass and 50% treble. To contact the author send an e-mail to: Email address protected by JavaScript. Ple...

Uploaded on Aug 10, 2015 (and last updated on Dec 28, 2015)

Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra is a free orchestral sample library. While not as advanced or ambitious in scope as commercial offerings, SSO contains all the basic building blocks for creating real virtual orchestrations. It's primarily aimed at beginners, but also more experienced composers looking for something lightweight and/or portable might find it useful.

British Sounds Pack

by P.Z.

Uploaded on Aug 10, 2015 (and last updated on Dec 30, 2015)

there are lots and lots of brilliant Hi- Gain distortion patches, but I still haven't found what I was looking for ... :P So, what I want is the feeling of standing in front of at least a true British half-stack, with all the dirt I need, but also some dynamics so I can turn down the volume on my guitar, play some nice and gentle notes and chords, then turning up again and making the whole thing roar ... Kind of back to the ancient days ... OK, so I'm doing some experime...

Metal Pack v1

by Sebastian Posch

Uploaded on Aug 10, 2015 (and last updated on Jan 09, 2016)

The guitar tone is rough (as it should be) and I'm extremely happy with what you can get out of guitarix. Anyway these should sound pretty brutal depending on your guitar and other setup. To contact the author mail: Email address protected by JavaScript. Please enable JavaScript to read it.
