I hired a fantastic drummer on Fiverr to record drums for an album, and paid him to also record some samples of his kit. I mixed the samples, chopped them up, and added in some other percussion he recorded for me. I made this for my own usage, so it may be a little idiosyncratic, but hopefully you can get some mileage out of it too. I bought the rights to all the recordings he made, so thankfully I can release this one for free to all of you. The samples are WAV files, 48 ...
As a special exception, if you create a composition which uses these sounds, and mix these sounds or unaltered portions of these sounds into the composition, these sounds do not by themselves cause the entire composition as a whole to be covered by the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 license.

If you need that musical sound from an 80s rock band or a Homestar Runner cartoon, this sample library could fit the bill! I built this virtual synth from samples, recorded using a vintage keyboard, that just appeared one day. When we were kids, my brother and I spent countless hours playing around with it. I even composed some of my very first melodies of music using this keyboard.
