Kalimba Soundfont

by Sizz Tuna

Uploaded on Apr 15, 2024 (and last updated on Apr 16, 2024)

A soundfont made personally by sampling my own kalimba. I can't guarantee that it's of professional quality (I recorded it using my phone while laying on the floor), but it worked well enough for my purposes. Recorded samples range from C4 to E6, though the soundfont can extrapolate past that.

Extra considerations: Run wild and use this in whatever music projects you want. Just if you want to chuck this into a larger soundfont or put an edited version of it into the world in any way, I'd appreciate if you gave attribution back here and kept your soundfont similarly lacking in restrictions.

The ULTIMATE ROBLOX Soundfont Pack V1.2 (Update!)

by NotRoblox

Uploaded on Mar 30, 2024 (and last updated on Apr 18, 2024)

2nd Note: I've seen a lotta people cant open the file, so i've made a mirror for it and uploaded it on mediafire, download it from there and try seeing if it works. Note: Remember to credit its use with a link and @not_roblox. tag (including the dot)! (I just want to be nice and like all videos or maybe even subscribe to those that have this soundfont pack!) 2nd Note: I replaced this with a .zip file, because the other one was corrupt for some reason. Introducing the ul...

Boy Band Soundfont

by S. Christian Collins

Uploaded on Jan 27, 2024 (and last updated on Jan 27, 2024)

Ah yes, the soundfont everyone thought was used in Undertale's "Temmie Village", but that turned out to be false. Still, it's worth preserving since a lot of people used it in Temmie-style remixes back in the day. Soundfont created by S. Christian Collins, originally for use in the digital audio workstation "Mixcraft".

Tenorion-On Original Drumkits Soundfont

by meri + alec brady for samples

Uploaded on Jul 08, 2023 (and last updated on Jul 11, 2023)

Hello ! Here is as you can see a soundfont featuring each samples from the 14 different drumkits ( each composed of 16 samples , for a total of 124 stereo samples ) featured in Toshio Iwai's Yamaha Tenori-On . Since I don't own a TNR-W / TNR-O , since the mobile apps TNR-i / TNR-e are long gone , and since audiotool.com 's Tenori-On is only a sequencer , not a synth , I can't put in here all the different synths that were available in the instrument's library. Also , these...

Musescore General HQ Soundfont (.sf2 Converted)

by Frank Wen, Michael Cowgill, S. Christian Collins

Uploaded on Jun 13, 2023 (and last updated on Jun 19, 2023)

The reason I published this here on Musical Artifacts is because it was originally an .sf3 file and .sf3's are compatible with such a small amount of things. The way I converted the thing was using Polyphone. I just loaded it, hit 'Save As...' and chose .sf2. It sounds just like the original with not much loss and I'm pretty happy with it. If you like the sound of the Musescore soundfont and want to use it with some other software (e.g. VLC Media Player). To summarize, I p...

This libre SoundFont is a new fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont, I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. Santos's YM2612 and Piconica (free basic waveform synth tool of sorts) drums were used to boost the range again, followed by little-scale's and drunkenjesus's OPLL drums, resulting in a drum rang...

Extra considerations: BeepBox and JummBox are under The MIT License, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with The MIT License (and GPLv3 as well, so you can use this SoundFont in anything GPL3-licensed. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others. And no, I didn't paywall the bank on ANY of the other sites it is on. I even point people to this site in the description to fulfill my CC-BY-SA4 obligations to attribute. I consider this SoundFont to be one of the best FOSS things I have done.) The William B. Santos stuff is Public Domain. OPLL stuff is libre. The Retro Player bank is under CC-BY 3.0.
