I'm stgiga, and as for this SoundFont, someone on Reddit asked me to remove the Exclusive Class settings on this bank to allow proper polyphony so I did. The pitch limits are hard to fix because some regions only play on certain pitches, in a segmented way, and while I COULD completely remove pitch limits, god forbid your ears. ok this could be the final version of the Idea behind of master Strings, a total sampled real strings with an optimal ADSR in the most compressed size that I could do for the General Midi, non synth sounding
this could be a perfect replacement for papel media strings, indeed it sounds better than that in less disk space

The reason I published this here on Musical Artifacts is because it was originally an .sf3 file and .sf3's are compatible with such a small amount of things. The way I converted the thing was using Polyphone. I just loaded it, hit 'Save As...' and chose .sf2. It sounds just like the original with not much loss and I'm pretty happy with it. This libre SoundFont is a new fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont,
I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. BeepBox and JummBox are under The MIT License, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with The MIT License (and GPLv3 as well, so you can use this SoundFont in anything GPL3-licensed. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others. And no, I didn't paywall the bank on ANY of the other sites it is on. I even point people to this site in the description to fulfill my CC-BY-SA4 obligations to attribute. Orpheus is a General MIDI compatible HQ Soundfont optimized for BassMidi based samplers/synths. It contains 128 instruments and 9 Drumkits. It's sharpened for sound realism and rich articulations.
