I'm stgiga, and as for this SoundFont, someone on Reddit asked me to remove the Exclusive Class settings on this bank to allow proper polyphony so I did. The pitch limits are hard to fix because some regions only play on certain pitches, in a segmented way, and while I COULD completely remove pitch limits, god forbid your ears. Even the original is kind of loud. (The JummBox bank, with some exceptions, isn't, and unlike this SoundFont or my Famicom Multichip bank, is compa...

This libre SoundFont is a new fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont, I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. Santos's YM2612 and Piconica (free basic waveform synth tool of sorts) drums were used to boost the range again, followed by little-scale's and drunkenjesus's OPLL drums, resulting in a drum rang...

Extra considerations: BeepBox and JummBox are under The MIT License, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with The MIT License (and GPLv3 as well, so you can use this SoundFont in anything GPL3-licensed. So yes, this bank is certifiably able to be a Linux package, even on distros like Trisquel that ONLY allow libre packages. Also, I have the bank on OpenGameArt for use in any games of the Liberated Pixel Cup variety, a game jam dedicated towards making FOSS games. This bank is also on other places besides this site, such as itch.io, OpenGameArt, IndieGameMusic, Archive.org, SourceForge, and others. And no, I didn't paywall the bank on ANY of the other sites it is on. I even point people to this site in the description to fulfill my CC-BY-SA4 obligations to attribute. I consider this SoundFont to be one of the best FOSS things I have done.) The William B. Santos stuff is Public Domain. OPLL stuff is libre. The Retro Player bank is under CC-BY 3.0.

Stinkofont 20X6 (Old Version)

by Gfdgsgxgzgdrc (me)

Uploaded on Nov 09, 2022 (and last updated on Apr 29, 2023)

DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS, I MADE A BETTER VERSION HERE. This is a soundfont based on the music of the Homestar Runner game Stinkoman 20X6. It should work with most DAWs, but I've only used it with LMMS so I can't know for sure. I isolated the instruments the best I could, but some of the samples aren't of the highest quality, and a few instruments are missing, so I might make an updated version at some point. This soundfont also includes sound effects ripped directly from the ...

BeepComp Chiptune SoundFont

I took some samples from the software BeepComp and turned it into a little soundfont that can be used with any software that uses .sf2 files. Good samples for making old-school chiptune, 8-bit, or retro arcade style songs.

Casio CTK-230 SoundFont

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Jun 12, 2018 (and last updated on Dec 02, 2020)

This is a SoundFont of my Casio CTK-230. Months ago I started to make this SoundFont, only the piano presets. But on June 9 I started to continue it, and finally I completed it. I have sampled and also recreated the loop points in each sample, to save space and prevent this SoundFont from being large. There are some presets that I have not recreated because the envelopes that were used for those presets are not possible using the parameters that the SoundFont 2.1 format o...
