Original samples come from Bill Brown's Fender Knockoff Strat, SGM, Freepats FSFT Guitar Direct and Naturally Decaying B-Guitars.sf2.
Guitarix virtual amplifier used to amplify (and in some cases, distort) the sounds. Guitarix running under Ubuntu.
Picked bass was recorded in June 2019 from a real electric bass.

Everyone knows and loves the EarthBound soundfont, created by SleepyTimeJeese over ten years ago... but did you know that this soundfont holds some secrets?
Digging around in a soundfont editor, I managed to find a number of unused and unreferenced samples, some of which were used in the demo album "I Miss You: EarthBound 2012".
I've compiled them all in this soundfont for you all to enjoy!

This is an overdriven guitar soundfont which I spent 3 hours of messing around to figure out which settings sounded the best. This covers the GM preset 000:029. This overdriven guitar has each white note sampled at an actual range of F1-E6. i think this is pretty accurate, loops could be a little better but you can edit them to your liking.
this was made by taking a real stratocaster sample and putting some filters and distortion on it, since the original sample is a strat and not a synth.
the soundfont includes the full sample and a trimmed one with loop points that's more like something present in game for you megaloheads,
