Gaming/Anime Impact Hit

by ElGrandJako, Micasddsa

Uploaded on Jul 15, 2022 (and last updated on Jul 16, 2022)

Originally from Megalovania Library by Micasddsa. Have you seen how some games, anime were composed at 90's/2000's? Shaman King, one of the most obscure anime has THIS Impact sound on its openings. I decided to bring you up this little kid to show up how cooler would be with more louder and impactuous (pun intended) sounds. I recommend you to loud up the volume, when you need to.

PC-98 YM2608 SoundFont

by Studio Emiko (original by Erika Furudo)

Uploaded on Jun 22, 2022 (and last updated on Jun 22, 2022)

I found this SoundFont on YT in a video by channel "Erika Furudo". Compared to the other PC-98 Soundfont on Musical Artifacts (https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/589), this one has better drums that sounds more crisp (and accurate IMHO!) than the drums in that SoundFont. Also supports more drumkits than that other PC-98 SoundFont. I uploaded it here in case of the original video being taken down. Have fun! P.S. You can use this in whatever you want, from game musi...

A SNES-like game sample library for live performance. Unlike other game sample libraries, this one uses Open Source Sample Sets and Stereo Samples. Version: 0.20 This version might be final because of bad legal open source sample resources.

Lil'Sness - An Original SNES-like Soundfont (160+ Samples)

by Lil'Alien

Uploaded on Apr 20, 2022 (and last updated on Jun 18, 2022)

Click on "More Info..." to check out some awesome demo songs made in this soundfont! What is this? Lil'Sness is an original SNES-like soundfont, meaning no samples were taken from any existing SNES games. Each sample was recorded and processed within the constraints of the SNES's sound hardware to make them as authentic-sounding as possible. Most samples were taken from 80s and 90s sound libraries, much like programmers/composers did back in the day. It contains over 1...

SuperSponge (PSX) Soundfont

The game itself is only occasionally fun, but the music is consistently stellar. A majority of it is to do with 4matt's exquisite composition skill, but another small part of it is owed to his excellent sample selection. Three years ago, SaladPlainZone directed me to the Development Archive for the game. Through it, I pored over all the game's .xm tracker files, extracting each and every sample. Over the course of two weeks I crafted, in several parts, what would become m...
