I, stgiga, made this layered mashup of the Yamaha Tyros 4 fixed Soundfont by Milton Paredes (which was fixed by RolandKnight) and the JV-1010 Soundfont. This results in a layered GM bank with snazzy timbre and it sounds really really good with many MIDIs. The acoustic guitar is really realistic, among others. I hope that you enjoy this! No quality was sacrificed during the making of this. A second link is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/stgigasoundfonts/files/so...

by UnderxPipe1985

Uploaded on May 17, 2020 (and last updated on Apr 18, 2021)

V2.5 - This is the biggest update and also this may be the final version. This is a soundfont that I compiled with high quality presets, mostly made by me, sampled from my Korg Pa700 and Roland JUNO-DS keyboards, everything in less than 1 GB, highlighting balanced and live quality pianos, guitars, basses, and more! Also includes 4 midi demo songs.

Realistic Soundfont V2: Libre Edition

by SonicLover 19, Strix Soundfont Team

Uploaded on Feb 08, 2020 (and last updated on May 24, 2020)

This is a libre version of SonicLover 19's Realistic Soundfont V2, which has all non-free samples removed, which also happens to allow the bank to be used on more than just the proprietary BassMIDI and Audigy/X-Fi players by virtue of being under 2GiB after the cleanup of the non-free samples was done. I, stgiga, am hosting this on GDrive. Strix was the one who removed the non-free samples. Yes, libre players are supported. Yes, the 7z file can fit on a CD, and yes, the un...

HiDef (my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro SoundFont)

by stgiga, et. al. (check my Weebly)

Uploaded on Dec 05, 2022 (and last updated on Oct 20, 2023)

I'm stgiga, and here's my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro soundfont from my Weebly but in a better place. This SF2 was made when I was, in essence, a 15-16yo trans girl (I'm now nonbinary, 21yo, and use they/them). It even supports the XG mode. It was designed to be compatible with the vast majority of MIDI files, including exotic ones that used the 88Pro, especially Japanese MIDIs. I made it in 2018 when I was fed up with broken MIDIs. It was a pain to make and often involved using ...

Apollo GMGS v1.051 (3.89 GiB GM+GS soundfont)

by Caed

Uploaded on Jul 10, 2023 (and last updated on Aug 29, 2023)

It is recommended that you upgrade to v1.10, that features a bunch of fixes such as balancing. https://musical-artifacts.com/artifacts/3181 This soundfont has been renamed from "Caed's Ultimate Adequate GM" to "Apollo GMGS". I've spent almost 2 months making this version and making a bunch of well changes to this soundfont to achieve a better MIDI listening experience. I've removed many sounds from CrisisGeneralMidi3.01 and other bland samples and such and made this sound...
