Pico-8 SF

by Packbat & Bikibird

Uploaded on Oct 27, 2023

This soundfont was made to specifically emulate the accuracy and limitations of the Pico-8, using the most common samples from a wide variety of fanmade games and projects. It seems to be GM Compatible, but I might be wrong.

I'm stgiga, and as for this SoundFont, someone on Reddit asked me to remove the Exclusive Class settings on this bank to allow proper polyphony so I did. The pitch limits are hard to fix because some regions only play on certain pitches, in a segmented way, and while I COULD completely remove pitch limits, god forbid your ears. Even the original is kind of loud. (The JummBox bank, with some exceptions, isn't, and unlike this SoundFont or my Famicom Multichip bank, is compa...

Megaman World 1-5 Soundfont

by Y0SHI and edit by me

Uploaded on Jan 09, 2023 (and last updated on Jan 11, 2023)

this one was also made by Y0SHI on polyphone and using famitracker and basically everything is pretty much accurate sounding except for the MMW4 and 5's saw and square waves like they're the normal thing that you'd hear on a nes or something but it doesn't have that echo and quality from the good ol GB games but everything is sounding good plus the 127 presets if using it with vgmtrans midis

NEW! Mother 3 Soundfont 2023 Update (1.0)

by Shigisato Itoi & Nintendo

Uploaded on Jan 02, 2023 (and last updated on Jan 04, 2023)

Happy New Year everyone! And what a new year indeed as it has been 7(!) years since fluidvolt released his Mother 3 soundfont to the world. And in that time many individuals have made a lotta amazing tracks with it. And while his soundfont was usable and useful at the time, I think it could definitely use a bit of an update since then. Namely in reorganizing the instruments to be a bit more GM compliant, renaming instruments to be a bit more recognizable and touching up so...

by ASmolBoy

Uploaded on Dec 13, 2022 (and last updated on Mar 15, 2023)

Pack of various waveforms from well known Gameboy games and some ones I made myself. Designed specifically to be used with FL Studio's 3x OSC plugin, but it'll probably work with other programs. Tutorial on how to use these with 3x OSC can be found on the sidebar on the right.

NEW! Mother 1+2 Soundfont (1.01)

by Shigesato Itoi & Nintendo

Uploaded on Nov 24, 2022 (and last updated on Dec 23, 2022)

(1.01 Update): I completely forgot to include GBA Mother 1's exclusive kick sample, this update includes that. I'll be honest seeing as there isn't a easy way to extract the sample itself due to Mother 1's sound engine appearing to be different/not use Sappy, I couldn't rip the sample itself from within. So what I decided to do was to use the mGBA emulator, turn off all the PSG Square and Noise channels leaving me with only the sample playback of the kick. I then recorded ...
