This soundfont is mainly used for almost new MIDIs that include GM and XG formats.
It has a bonus soundfont file called "8-bit" version which is used for retro video game MIDIs with 20 kb of size!

a well balanced gm/xg soundfont i've been working on, as of now i think it's good enough to be spread around.
check yearly for updates, as i use this quite alot for srb2(via virtualmidisynth)
this sf2 may not be compatible with timidity/fluidsynth but works well with bassmidi.
feel free to show it around, the google drive link will always have the most recent version of the sf2.
feel free to leave feedback on google drive, things like where i should look to improving it...

Mainly enhances percussion and SFX, addressing common dissonant note/inconsistant beat issues found in the majority of conventional GM/GS soundfonts while staying atop them (in the presence of multi-soundfont support).

ZFont is a soundfont created April 4th, 2021 with it first starting out as a way to learn how to use Viena64 which ended up turning into a soundfont which I would work on for the next 2 years until now, where I decided to upload on to this website.
ZFont has some GS and XG Support, contains 3617 Samples, 479 Instruments and 421 Presets, all coming from different soundfonts, games, sample libaraies ...

Extra considerations:
The license for this SoundFont is various and valid as for any individual source (see "MatrixSF - instruments, licenses.txt").
You can use this sounds/instruments respecting the licenses or even create your own SoundFont from this with some modifications (fork) and publish it, but you must also indicate this in the SoundFont name (e.g. "MatrixSF (edited by Mark)", "MatrixSF Mark version"...), put the license/attribution file for the original creators and give the SoundFont for free.
The list of sources of all instruments and the corresponding licenses are ca. 99% correct, because I probably missed a few sounds due to testing from many sources. If any sound/instrument should not be in this SoundFont, please send mail at matrix36963@gmail.com, it will be removed/replaced.
