I've spent almost 2 months making this version and making a bunch of well changes to this soundfont to achieve a better MIDI listening experience. A GMGS soundfont created by Caed, based on RLNDGM. This is my first time making a GMGS soundfont, so it isn’t that perfect. Took 3 months to create this.

If you need that musical sound from an 80s rock band or a Homestar Runner cartoon, this sample library could fit the bill! I built this virtual synth from samples, recorded using a vintage keyboard, that just appeared one day. When we were kids, my brother and I spent countless hours playing around with it. I even composed some of my very first melodies of music using this keyboard.

Cuckoo's Taped Piano SFZ (wav version)

Internet musician Cuckoo taped his piano, sampled it and made an SFZ soundfont. All the notes have been sampled with 3 different velocity layers. As for the sound it ranges from a really light mellow harp-like tone on lower velocities to a very sharp tone with higher velocities, really interesting.
The original version uses aiff samples but it did not play well with some of the SFZ players I used, so I made a flac and a wav version.

What is this?
Lil'Sness is an original SNES-like soundfont, meaning no samples were taken from any existing SNES games.
Each sample was recorded and processed within the constraints of the SNES's sound hardware to make them as authentic-sounding as possible.
Most samples were taken from 80s and 90s sound libraries, much like programmers/composers did back in the day.
