SampleSynthesis (an attempt to emulate/recreate toy keyboards and lo-fi retro sounds)

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Mar 05, 2018 (and last updated on Apr 10, 2021)

SampleSynthesis (beta version) is a SoundFont based on waveforms sampled from various sound sources. Note that "sound source" in my context refers to a sound generator software, not a public source of downloadable sounds. I made it to recreate electronic toys and more. (Specifically retro sounds). Features velocity layers in some presets, some of them are monophonic. I recommend use this SoundFont without sinc interpolation because it ruins loop points in the samples. No...

Casio CTK-230 SoundFont

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Jun 12, 2018 (and last updated on Dec 02, 2020)

This is a SoundFont of my Casio CTK-230. Months ago I started to make this SoundFont, only the piano presets. But on June 9 I started to continue it, and finally I completed it. I have sampled and also recreated the loop points in each sample, to save space and prevent this SoundFont from being large. This Soundfont is a fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont. I, stgiga, fixed the pitch and mappings, and also added OPL4 drum parts to Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) because Micas didn't use drums. It's really neat and retro! Enjoy! Stay safe, stay at home, and wash ur hands! Sincerely, stgiga Metadata has been updated NPC's new soundcloud page is here: https://soundcloud.com/ncmurrzydoest...

Licensing Gray Area
These files have an unknown license, were obtained from unkown sources or were compiled from third party material.
Extra considerations: Beepbox and Jummbox are under the MIT license, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with the MIT license. The YRW-801 OPL4 samples aren't likely free.

HiDef (my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro SoundFont)

by stgiga, et. al. (check my Weebly)

Uploaded on Dec 05, 2022 (and last updated on Oct 20, 2023)

I'm stgiga, and here's my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro soundfont from my Weebly but in a better place. This SF2 was made when I was, in essence, a 15-16yo trans girl (I'm now nonbinary, 21yo, and use they/them). It even supports the XG mode. It was designed to be compatible with the vast majority of MIDI files, including exotic ones that used the 88Pro, especially Japanese MIDIs. I made it in 2018 when I was fed up with broken MIDIs. It was a pain to make and often involved using ...
