Omi y sus tla2 made it first, this is a mexican marimba from the south of mexico but I optimized and adding some velocity dynamics and a layer of a american marimba

This soundfont is made with the samples recorded at the Electronic Music Studios of the University of Iowa (USA)
Except for cutting the silence before the attack, the samples were not modified : natural sound, natural sustain and release: no loop, no effect.
The samples are publicly available as is, with no license, as far as I know.

Here is another realistic marimba soundfont. I recorded the samples from Soundtrap. This is GM compatible. Feel free to use this in your soundfonts, and please give me credit.
