Special thanks to stgiga for file recovery! Have you ever wondered what your favourite MIDIs would sound like if they had the sounds from Jazz Jackrabbit? If so, you're like me from 3 years ago- who started this project. It's been a while but it's been worth it. Hope you enjoy JJSF2 as much as I do. Cirnomiji (formerly Pezbeth#2000)

Modified Final Fantasy VII Yamaha GM/XG sound font

by Unknown

Uploaded on Mar 04, 2021 (and last updated on Mar 05, 2021)

If my memory serves right. This 22MB Soundfont is a modified yamaha XG sound font. It is tailored to play original Final Fantasy VII xg midis to be better than that from PSX version's recordings. I used to use TiMidity++ to play those xg midi on my Hi-FI system a decade ago. It's amazing! I also use this to play other games with Coolsoft virtualmidisynth. It makes every game that uses midi sounds like FF7. I don't remember who the original author was. I am simply sharing...

This Soundfont is a fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont. I, stgiga, fixed the pitch and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) because Micas didn't use drums. It's really neat and retro!Enjoy!Stay safe, stay at home, and wash ur hands!Sincerely, stgigaMetadata has been updatedNPC's new soundcloud page is here: https://soundcloud.com/ncmurrzydoesthe_thingAlso FYI I'm nonbinar...
