CT-7000 (Retro Synth) [Free Version]

by Michael Picher

Uploaded on Mar 20, 2017 (and last updated on Apr 04, 2024)

If you need that musical sound from an 80s rock band or a Homestar Runner cartoon, this sample library could fit the bill! I built this virtual synth from samples, recorded using a vintage keyboard, that just appeared one day. When we were kids, my brother and I spent countless hours playing around with it. I even composed some of my very first melodies of music using this keyboard. >> IMPORTANT: If you want to be notified when a new version of this sample library...

by Signal Experiments / Mattias Westlund

Uploaded on Apr 13, 2017 (and last updated on Apr 14, 2017)

An update to the Grand Piano included in the Mattias Westlund's Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. The velocity layers are phase aligned, allowing smoother dynamic transitions via velocity crossfading, which in turn makes the piano more expressive.

Sonic Adventure Soundfont

by Redhotsupermario, SEGA for sounds

Uploaded on Feb 06, 2021 (and last updated on Feb 10, 2021)

I recommend in fl pitch the drum tracks up in piano roll so they actually work lol. I DO NOT OWN SONIC THE HEDGEHOG IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM, SA1 BELONGS TO SEGA I REPEAT SEGA. Oh, and I just took samples and put them in audacity, I didn't rip the sample from the game its self, so that's why it has that weird/cool/dumb, idk? sound to it.

Binaural Upright Piano

by Michael Picher

Uploaded on Sep 02, 2016 (and last updated on Dec 02, 2018)

Unlike other virtual pianos, this one will give you the sensation of sitting at the piano bench directly in front of the keys. This effect is best experienced when you wear headphones. Features include samples for when the damper pedal is both up and down, sampled releases, and even damper pedal sounds that all recorded binaurally from a playing position! >> IMPORTANT: If you want to be notified when a new version of this sample library is available, make sure you d...

Overdriven Guitar

by Caed

Uploaded on Jul 06, 2023 (and last updated on Jul 06, 2023)

This is an overdriven guitar soundfont which I spent 3 hours of messing around to figure out which settings sounded the best. This covers the GM preset 000:029. This overdriven guitar has each white note sampled at an actual range of F1-E6. The Unreal Instruments' METAL-GTX (https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/unreal-instruments/metal-gtx) and the Amped Roots plugin (https://ml-sound-lab.com/products/amped-roots) was used for this. In addition, this contains some modula...

Slender Salamander Grand Piano (44 kHz 16 bit)

by Alexander Holm / Signal Experiments

Uploaded on Nov 11, 2017 (and last updated on Nov 11, 2017)

A phase aligned version of the famous Salamander Grand Piano. Using velocity crossfading to simulate intermediate velocity layers, the original gigabyte library has been reduced to 389 MB (238 for the 44.1kHz version). From the original 16 velocity layers, 3 were selected then phase aligned. Furthermore, the SFZ library has also been re-tuned using the Entropy Piano Tuner.
