CWBF's Emma kit

by Colin WB Foley

Uploaded on Apr 22, 2020 (and last updated on Apr 22, 2020)

I hired a fantastic drummer on Fiverr to record drums for an album, and paid him to also record some samples of his kit. I mixed the samples, chopped them up, and added in some other percussion he recorded for me. I made this for my own usage, so it may be a little idiosyncratic, but hopefully you can get some mileage out of it too. I bought the rights to all the recordings he made, so thankfully I can release this one for free to all of you. The samples are WAV files, 48 ...

Hakerg had forgotten the fret noise which broke certain songs, so what I did to fix that involved me putting the Guitar Harmonics thing there. Also I did some link-related stereo fixes without affecting the MT32's special stereo. I also painstakingly made the SFX kit into individual GS SFX items, while also making Bird Tweet better. I mapped the SFX also into the MSB Bank 64 XG SFX bank so that ...

Overdriven Guitar

by Caed

Uploaded on Jul 06, 2023 (and last updated on Jul 06, 2023)

This is an overdriven guitar soundfont which I spent 3 hours of messing around to figure out which settings sounded the best. This covers the GM preset 000:029. This overdriven guitar has each white note sampled at an actual range of F1-E6. The Unreal Instruments' METAL-GTX (https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/unreal-instruments/metal-gtx) and the Amped Roots plugin (https://ml-sound-lab.com/products/amped-roots) was used for this. In addition, this contains some modula...

This libre Soundfont is an alternate fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont, I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. Santos's YM2612 and Piconica (free basic waveform synth tool of sorts) drums were used to boost the range again, followed by little-scale's and drunkenjesus's OPLL drums, resulting in a dr...
