The first libre lightweight General MIDI chiptune-based soundfont that I created from scratch using libre software, including LMMS, Audacity, and Polyphone. However, it's work-in-progress as some instruments are absent.

I, stgiga, made this layered mashup of the Yamaha Tyros 4 fixed Soundfont by Milton Paredes (which was fixed by RolandKnight) and the JV-1010 Soundfont. This results in a layered GM bank with snazzy timbre and it sounds really really good with many MIDIs. The acoustic guitar is really realistic, among others.
I hope that you enjoy this!

TrianGMGS Soundfont

This is intended to be an orchestral soundfont for GM (General MIDI), compiled from various other soundfonts. The reason being is that I couldn't find a decent orchestral GM soundfont (for my needs), so I decided to compile my own by carefully picking samples from other sources.
Feel free to use this for whatever you want to, but remember that these samples aren't mine, so it's all a grey area.
Update: Added 309 GS patches. The GM only version can still be downloaded fro...

The Ultimate STAIN+stin SoundFont

I'm stgiga, and this SoundFont is my build of The Stain SoundFont, which includes patches even back to V1.0 that were left unused, or in some cases sample-only. It also includes replaced and added patches. I left all names unaltered for preservation. I also integrated the stin bank into the MSB127 MT32 compatibility slot. Don't take this SF2 as a representation of the stuff I do.
Also, the site is slow so tagging is a huge pain compared to usual. I'm likely not going to b...
The Ultimate Kirby Soundfont

This SoundFont takes instruments from various Kirby games to make a mostly complete SoundFont! Like my Earthbound SoundFont, not only is the SoundFont GM compatible, it also contains a lot more instruments than the standard 127!
The SoundFont included here only contains the melodic instruments. To have the drums as well, you'll need to get the Drumkits Soundfont through the Google Drive link.
