Floppotron GM

by stgiga, sleaf, [nowanonymous], Yingchun Soul

Uploaded on Nov 23, 2023 (and last updated on Apr 17, 2024)

Oh I (stgiga) didn't give this poor bank a description, let's give 'em one: This bank is a cursed one that aims to replicate the sound of the Floppotron (Floppy Drive Organ). It's a ridiculous bank, and I did it on request. This does NOT define my SF2s. Anyways, IF you enjoy it, enjoy it. If you don't, I have MUCH better SF2s.

Extra considerations: Do what you want so long as you aren't a bigot or using it in ways that would make Rainfurrest attendees nope out of the idea. Oh and no, I never went to Rainfurrest (that's probably a good thing, I heard it was awful).

Otamatone GM

by stgiga, sleaf, Marcel J. Therrien, Bann, [nowanonymous]

Uploaded on Nov 23, 2023 (and last updated on Apr 17, 2024)

I'm stgiga, and here is my Otamatone GM bank, utilizing percussion from Marcel J. Therrien's Gamer's Orchestra bank, and Bann's Otamatone bank, with a bank structure of single-sample GM whose invention rights were gifted to me by parties who wish not to be named. Also, sleaf's Charm's Noise Peaker was used for SFX like Applause. Since the site is slow, tagging is a problem. I will probably come back later and re-tag it. Oh, by the way: IF you're looking for the Musical ...

HiDef (my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro SoundFont)

by stgiga, et. al. (check my Weebly)

Uploaded on Dec 05, 2022 (and last updated on Oct 20, 2023)

I'm stgiga, and here's my 4GiB Roland SC-88Pro soundfont from my Weebly but in a better place. This SF2 was made when I was, in essence, a 15-16yo trans girl (I'm now nonbinary, 21yo, and use they/them). It even supports the XG mode. It was designed to be compatible with the vast majority of MIDI files, including exotic ones that used the 88Pro, especially Japanese MIDIs. I made it in 2018 when I was fed up with broken MIDIs. It was a pain to make and often involved using ...

This libre Soundfont is an alternate fixed version of Micasddsa4000's Jummbox Soundfont, I, stgiga, fixed the pitch, OPL2 samples, modulators, and mappings, and also added Zandro Reveille's OPL3 drums (TheFatMan is part of the equation, including OPL2 booster drums too) (also William B. Santos's YM2612 and Piconica (free basic waveform synth tool of sorts) drums were used to boost the range again, followed by little-scale's and drunkenjesus's OPLL drums, resulting in a dr...

Extra considerations: Beepbox and Jummbox are under the MIT license, and Zandro's OPL3 and OPL2 are under CC-BY-SA4, which is compatible with the MIT license. The William B. Santos stuff is Public Domain. OPLL stuff is libre. The Retro Player bank is under CC-BY 3.0.

I, stgiga, made this layered mashup of the Yamaha Tyros 4 fixed Soundfont by Milton Paredes (which was fixed by RolandKnight) and the JV-1010 Soundfont. This results in a layered GM bank with snazzy timbre and it sounds really really good with many MIDIs. The acoustic guitar is really realistic, among others. I hope that you enjoy this! No quality was sacrificed during the making of this. A second link is here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/stgigasoundfonts/files/so...
