by DSmolken

Uploaded on Aug 29, 2015 (and last updated on Dec 27, 2015)

Two primary sets of samples are provided - arco (that's bowed) and pizz (plucked) - with the addition of various "noises". If you check out his performance video, on YouTube, you might see what these might be used for... also the start of the demos below. Arco is 5 velocity layers with 2 round robins, pizz is 3 velocity layers with 3-4 round rob...

Extra considerations: I want it to be reusable including letting other people make better mappings, or an EQed and normalized version or whatever, and reuse it in other sample libraries.

Deep Bass (based on pasta bass)

This electric bass has a pronounced pick attack. This helps cut through a rock mix where you have lots of bass-heavy distorted guitar "power chords". My version differs from the original source in that mine is stereo, looped, has some noise removed, and includes a "legato mode" mapping.

Introduction This is a synthesized Soundfont, made specifically for Soundfont-based soundcards. Most preferably, the SBLive! The Gameboy waveforms consist of small-wave-use, to make strange-like sounds. In this case, Gameboy-rather. My source is included, in case you want to continue it from the version you used last. It's in Audio Compositor format the source, so keep in mind, that if you run AC with it, make sure to map the wave files required, to the sample library. :...

Concert Harp Soundfont (from Sonatina sfz)

by Fernando A. Martin

Uploaded on Mar 23, 2016 (and last updated on Mar 23, 2016)

This is the Concert Harp available at Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra. It has a default preset at bank 0 program 46 and also two presets at bank 1, program 45 for muted harp (without sustain) and program 46 is the same as the bank 0 preset. Currently it's the free harp soundbank with the biggest number of good quality samples that I found online and it really sounds fine.

A tranverse flute soundfont created from scratch using the no-vibrato samples provided by IOWA University. One sample per note. No filters. No loops. Only the flute samples the way they were recorded. (If you want the legato effect, please, use attack controllers to create it.)
