Rushing Beat Shura (SFC) SoundFont

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Dec 12, 2021 (and last updated on Jan 03, 2022)

A personal SoundFont I made a while ago. This is the Japanese version of Jaleco's game "The Peace Keepers". Music was removed completely from the English version of the game and it was replaced with ambient SFXs. Like most SNES SoundFonts, these are the samples without envelopes, you have to create them yourself using your sequencer.

Sonic CD samples

Uploaded on Aug 04, 2020 (and last updated on Aug 05, 2020)

Extracted from SNCBNK* files. All voices included. They're in 16kHz. I recommend importing these in an audio editor/sampler/whatever you choose to play with the pitch/playback rate (note -- playback rate, not sample rate) otherwise import these in a SoundFont editor, etc. If you wish to use a sampler, I recommend a sampler that allows you to choose interpolation types (i.e. zero-order hold, linear, etc.) to simulate that aliased sound (using bit crushers isn't highly recom...

Super Mario Advance 4

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on May 23, 2020 (and last updated on Aug 21, 2021)

A SoundFont of the game "Super Mario Advance 4" for GBA. This was possible by ripping the sample data from the ROM. I recreated loop points and envelopes (well, loop points at least are decent, so don't worry). The SoundFont is not 100% GM, specially the drumkit. Enjoy! 08/06/20: Added two more instruments. 25/07/20: Added the following sound effects: Seashore/rain Airplane Red Mushroom House ball sound effect (World-e mini game) Bomb (generic) Plus extra samples for t...

FPD 2.6 "PCMV2"

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on May 18, 2020 (and last updated on Aug 18, 2020)

A SoundFont of FPD97/98's predecessor, FPD (Frostforest PCM Driver). This is a SoundFont made with the PCM tone waveform data found in the multiple PCM driver FPD for NEC PC-98 computers. They also are used in the first FPD port for Windows 95, called FPD95. New versions (from FPD97 onwards) use a different PCM sound set for MIDI and RCP playback, but the old sound set is still present. It has 128 presets and 1 drumkit.I made it because someone requested it. Keep in mind t...

FPD98

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Mar 28, 2020 (and last updated on Apr 17, 2020)

This is a SoundFont of a shareware Japanese software synthesizer of the 90's, called FPD98. The software synthesizer FPD98 contains many additional functions, such as: Composing music using its own MML syntax implementation MIDI/RCP/WAV playback, including the FPD format Conversion of MIDI/RCP to the propietary format "FPD" Sampling/editing PCM tone waveform data files (FPV) using PE98 etc. For MIDI/RCP/FPD playback, it uses a variety of PCM tone waveforms. The tone wa...

HuC6280 Rhodes (A.K.A. Toy Rhodes)

by Dekyo Ongen

Uploaded on Mar 27, 2019 (and last updated on Jan 30, 2020)

This is a really tiny and experimental SoundFont that tries to imitate a Rhodes in a weird way, playing with overtones, using 3 samples that I've created with the HuC6280 sound chip. It features filter velocity, so if you play it with different intensities, the sound will change, like a piano or something similar. Give it a try! And as usual with my SoundFonts, please don't use sinc interpolation with it.
