The Glover 64 soundfont is huge. There are almost 200 patches here if you include the drums (and why wouldn't you?). The Glover soundtrack is one of my favorites, the drum loops combined with the often-bizarre melodies make it sound like hip hop from another dimension. And the soundfont is extremely versatile, there are tons of melodic instruments, drum hits, and sixteen unique drum loops. I love this soundfont.
Let me explain the organization scheme a bit. Instruments 1 - 46 I found in the main instrument bank. 47 - 73 are sounds strewn throughout the ROM that sounded melodic enough, including some sound effects. 74 and 75 are edits I made to try and remove some clicking in the original samples. In the percussion bank, 1 - 36 I found in what seems to be the main percussion set, while 37 - 74 are miscellaneous hits and SFX. 75 - 90 are drum loops (one of the highlights of the font, for sure), and 91-120 are instruments I manually created by cutting out samples from the drum loops.
In other words, I love the sounds in Glover so much that I omitted almost nothing, and in some cases even created sub-sounds. What'd I tell you? I love this soundfont.
