Dance of The Free Wolves - Ardour Example Session

Another Ardour session. This is an old session from 2014 that I used as a demo in a talk about Linux Audio. I cleaned it up, used some nicer plug-ins and remixed the tune a little.

This session uses the following plug-ins:

• C* Plate Reverb
• Calf Compressor
• Calf Vintage Delay
• Calf Reverb
• Calf Phaser: on the lead guitar
• Guitarix (ladspa): For overdrive guitar and lead guitar
• GxAmplifier (lv2) and GxRedEye Big Chump: for the clean guitar sounds
• ZynAddSubFx (lv2): for keys and lead synthesizer sounds

The zipped file also includes dance_test.xmz, which is the Zyn set-up for this track which can be loaded in the plugin or standalone version, and ladspa.gx the Guitarix bank file with the overdrive and lead sounds (if you want to use the sounds place this file in ~/.config/guitarix/banks).

This session also uses some 120bpm loops from the Total Harmonic Distortion pack by Stretta.
