v0.04
changelog:
-added 1 bit noise samples made using magical 8 bit plugin 2 by ymck
-fixed sine, saw, and round saw being 1 octave too high
-new drum kit made using only simple waves
i've made a short little demo track using only instruments from the soundfont to demonstrate it's versatility: https://soundcloud.com/aobunau/aobus-chiptune-soundfont-demo
so why should you use it? if you're using fl studio, it doesn't support note sliding for 3rd party vsts, including the nes vst. using this soundfont will allow you to use note slides. "but 3x osc and other basic synths support note sliding! why not use those?" i've found 3x osc to be a little too basic for my uses. my favorite instruments in the soundfont, featured in bank 1 (the wave pulses), aren't really possible/easy to recreate in other synths. in addition, vsts also take up way more cpu load than soundfonts.
