This soundfont is made with the samples recorded at the Electronic Music Studios of the University of Iowa (USA) Except for cutting the silence before the attack, the samples were not modified : natural sound, natural sustain and release: no loop, no effect. The samples are publicly available as is, with no license, as far as I know. My warm greetings to the nice people who maintain this usefull project! Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Soundfont

by exciter

Uploaded on Oct 01, 2016 (and last updated on Oct 01, 2016)

Just finished a documented Majora's Mask soundfont with audio extracted from the Nintendo 64 version using SubDrag's Nintendo 64 Soundbank Tool V2. I have to thank SubDrag for all the hard work he's put in to making the audio files from games like Majora's Mask so accessible, really solid work. The Soundfont file contains game audio including all instruments, percussion, ambience, and some NPC sounds categorized by bank number. Should contain about 97-98% of all in-game...

Upright Piano (Recorded Binaurally)

by Michael Picher

Uploaded on Sep 02, 2016 (and last updated on Sep 06, 2016)

Unlike other virtual pianos, this one will give you the sensation of sitting at the piano bench directly in front of the keys. This effect is best experienced when you wear headphones. Features include samples for when the damper pedal is both up and down, sampled releases, and even damper pedal sounds that all recorded binaurally from a playing position! Update: Added sampled key release sounds.

Internet musician Cuckoo taped his piano, sampled it and made an SFZ soundfont. All the notes have been sampled with 3 different velocity layers. As for the sound it ranges from a really light mellow harp-like tone on lower velocities to a very sharp tone with higher velocities, really interesting. The original version uses aiff samples but it did not play well with some of the SFZ players I used, so I made a flac and a wav version. This is the WAV. Link to the FLAC vers...
