This is a GM bank based on Atari 2600 that uses period accurate samples to reproduce GM tunes as if made on Atari 2600. It uses distortion 3 and distortion 15 plus the bassy wave to span all 128 keys with a note. The drums are AY/YM noise with some overdrive like on Sunsoft 5B mixer. This is Blow Tenor, a sax sound also used by Zun. This soundfont, like it's alto brethren, also has different velocities that change the tone.

Version 1.75: (OPL I added OPL samples and fixed some looping within the samples.

I used Deflemask and Furnace Tracker for the samples, and Polyphone to make the soundfont.

Background Info:
Following my discovery of the PC-98 series of computers and their Yamaha FM sound cards, I came to hear many of Ryu Umemoto's excellent compositions. These have a very distinct sound compared to other soundtracks on the same hardware. In an attempt to allow myself and others to replicate this sound without needing to use tracker software/MML, I decided to create a Soundfont for none other than EVE burst error.
