Korg AG-10 GM Soundfont

by Thomas K.

Uploaded on Oct 09, 2020 (and last updated on Oct 17, 2020)

This soundfont was sampled from a Korg AG-10, one of the earliest GM sound modules (released in 1993). It's up to you what you wish to use it for, even if it's low-fi sounding these days. It has 128 General MIDI sounds and 4 Drum Kits (GM Kit, Power Kit, Analog Kit, Brush Kit). Note that there is no Room, Electronic, Jazz or Orchestra Kit here. Some demos (for comparisons with the sound module itself) are available on Google Drive, here: https://drive.google.com/drive/fol...

Extra considerations: All samples were recorded from the Korg AG-10. No idea about their legality and not wishing to step on anyone's toes, this was just made for fun.

SgtPepperArc360 XG (The Mystery Soundfont)

by David "SgtPepperArc360" Egan - SPA360

Uploaded on Sep 15, 2022 (and last updated on Sep 16, 2022)

sgtpepperarc360.org The official soundfont of SgtPepperArc360! Here, you'll find sounds that I use in my music, including those from my custom VST patches. Some sounds were recycled from other synthesizers like the Yamaha DGX-205 and my Roland JD-Xi, as well as other soundfonts like Earthbound, CTK (Casio), BREW (Qualcomm), Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Nintendo), and more. Upon recording samples, some of them sounded out of tune, so I used Melodyne to correct the pit...

This soundfont is made with the samples recorded at the Electronic Music Studios of the University of Iowa (USA) Except for cutting the silence before the attack, the samples were not modified : natural sound, natural sustain and release: no loop, no effect. The samples are publicly available as is, with no license, as far as I know. My warm greetings to the nice people who maintain this usefull project! A general MIDI soundfont with balanced instruments. I used General User GS for many of the sounds, and also I matched the volume of the other samples used to General User GS.---version 1.03: fixed a few bugs with drum kits
