CrisisGeneralMIDI 3.01

by Chris 'Crisis' Maricourt, Simone Piervergili

Uploaded on Oct 04, 2022 (and last updated on Mar 09, 2023)

Chris 'Crisis' Maricourt is the creator of Crisis GeneralMIDI 3.01, NOT me. I just wanted to share it here, just like SonicLover19 uploaded Crisis 3.51 which is the unofficial update of this soundfont. Sounds realistic, I tried it and it didn't sound bad. Also, I noticed some samples are from East West libraries, for example, Standard Kit and Melodic Toms are from East West Goliath, I noticed it while watching East West Goliath drum kits demos on YouTube.

If you need that musical sound from an 80s rock band or a Homestar Runner cartoon, this sample library could fit the bill! I built this virtual synth from samples, recorded using a vintage keyboard, that just appeared one day. When we were kids, my brother and I spent countless hours playing around with it. I even composed some of my very first melodies of music using this keyboard. >> IMPORTANT: If you want to be notified when a new version of this sample library...
