Overdriven Guitar

by Caed

Uploaded on Jul 06, 2023 (and last updated on Jul 06, 2023)

This is an overdriven guitar soundfont which I spent 3 hours of messing around to figure out which settings sounded the best. This covers the GM preset 000:029. This overdriven guitar has each white note sampled at an actual range of F1-E6. The Unreal Instruments' METAL-GTX (https://unreal-instruments.wixsite.com/unreal-instruments/metal-gtx) and the Amped Roots plugin (https://ml-sound-lab.com/products/amped-roots) was used for this. In addition, this contains some modula...

SNES U.N. Squadron Soundfont (and WAV pack)

by ASmolBoy

Uploaded on Feb 23, 2023 (and last updated on Mar 15, 2023)

Here's a soundfont containing samples from the 1991 SNES port of the arcade game 'U.N. Squadron', with the soundtrack composed by Manami Matsumae and Mari Yamaguchi. Feel free to use this in any kind of project (Remix, Original Music, Video Game etc.), but always be aware of copyright, as these samples aren't mine.

Casio SA-50/51 (Standard and General MIDI)

by Pancake

Uploaded on Feb 02, 2023 (and last updated on Jun 12, 2023)

A direct recording and resampling of Casio's recently released SA-50 and SA-51 keyboards which revive the long-dormant "Casiotone" name. Not too bad considering the target audience. Tones may not sound exact, samples are re-used in some of them and were pitched either an octave down or up, so I had to "stack" existing instruments to avoid redundancy as much as possible and used my SC-55mkII as a guide. Some of the patches are sampled from the Roland JV-1010, SC-55mkII and ...

NEW! Mother 3 Soundfont 2023 Update (1.0)

by Shigisato Itoi & Nintendo

Uploaded on Jan 02, 2023 (and last updated on Jan 04, 2023)

Happy New Year everyone! And what a new year indeed as it has been 7(!) years since fluidvolt released his Mother 3 soundfont to the world. And in that time many individuals have made a lotta amazing tracks with it. And while his soundfont was usable and useful at the time, I think it could definitely use a bit of an update since then. Namely in reorganizing the instruments to be a bit more GM compliant, renaming instruments to be a bit more recognizable and touching up so...
